Major Crisis meets General Chaos
On Thursday - August 24th, 2006 14:39:59And thus began the Battle of Camp Kasplodey. Fighting invisible, or rather, non-existent, enemies is an occassional feature of military history, the Gulf of Tonkin incident being a notorious example. Given how difficult to locate invisible enemies are, it’s no wonder that that often evolves into fighting between allies or different parts of the same force.
Anyway, in this case it’s pretty clear what will happen: after having completely destroyed his base, a thorough investigation by the General will find no living invisible invaders between the debris. Based on that, he will report to the Pentagon that he successfully defended his base against an immeasurable number of enemies and will get promoted. The Goverment will warn any and all invisible countries against any further transgressions, at which, just for old times’ sake, France will surrender.
Visual acquisition of targets refers to the concept of actually seeing what you’re shooting at, which is mostly outdated today.
On Monday, it’s back to someone who still takes his visual acquisition serious: the Sheriff. Please vote.
On a sidenote, I have no idea what General Chaos could want Major Crisis to spread, but my best guesses are either his legs or the Gospel.
