What’s swerve for the goose… – Chap. 5, Act 4, Strip 62

I really wonder what Tony Schiavone would call this development. I really do.

But let’s make a note of the fact that even Dr. Dutchman Fu’s contigency plan, conmendably simple and straightforward as it is, contained a serious flaw. He had made no allowance for the fact that the Professor could have a gun (I assume he overlooked that possibility because the Dutch Constitution has no 2nd Amendment*). Fortunately, what’s sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander, and the other Professor also had a gun! (While still being of the same gender as the first professor. And not a fowl. A gun also isn’t sauce, technically.)

More on Thursday.

*Actually, the Constitution of the Netherlands has been amended 22 times sinche 1814, usually with more than one provision changing at once. But you know what I mean: they don’t have a constitutionally guaranteed right to arm bears. (Also, they have no bears.)
