Yeah, technology bordering on black magic sounds about right. The Space Emperor from chapter 2 probably used something like that to turn Gregory into a zombie the first time, and Mopey somehow deduced enough about the process from the result to duplicate the effect with her own technological means. She probably also stripped down, covered herself in paste and danced around with a goat skull on her head during the proceedings, but that was only for setting the mood.  |
