...ok, that one got me. Love the little black Wing of Sephi.
(However, i will not question the Boots ...or the Poetry, for that Matter)
However there are others who did more raw Damage than him in FF8.
Though i cant seem to find the Video... anyway, it has the second or third Form of the final Boss pulling all the other Planets on Strings together onto the Heroes in a big BOOM ...doing maybe 4k Dmg. |

Just a quick question for The Author about this comic - or, more correctly, the comments below it:

So... this you use the correct, but rarely used term deserts (not desserts) because you knew it was correct, or was it a misspelling? Either way, it's heartwarming to see the correct term being used for once.

I thought he'd likely wear the petite form while he's being emo - it's much more fashionable.

Yeah, planets seem to be one of the weaker projectile weapons in Final Fantasy...but then, it's a game where practically everyone can throw meteors at people... >_>

Thanks. Yeah, I know how to spell it correctly - actually, I've always wondered how people can think it's spelled "just desserts". What kind of punishment would that be? I'd be perfectly happy with just desserts for three meals a day.

Actually Planets are some of the stronger Projectile Weapons ...seeing how Guns do absolutely NOTHING in most of the Games/Movies.
Cloud gets shot point blank in the Face in Advent Children while riding his Bike (The Guy with the Gun was jumping over his Bike with his own Bike, doing a Flip... physically questionable, but friggin cool) and all it does is knocking his Goggles off.
And it doesnt get better from there on. (If they hit at all)
Maybe Projectiles have a different Size/Damage Modifier than Swords... (a constant Error from Squeenix? Put a Comma in the wrong Place!)

Which leaves the question whether that makes FF more, or less, realistic than all those movies where they just never hit anything in the first place.

I thought so too, for a long while...but, by now, I've come to the conclusion that it probably just is that way in Japan - due to a distortion in the Earth's magnetic field, swords really are more powerful than guns in Japan. It's really the only explanation that can make sense out of about 60% of Japanese popular culture (and 25% of their history). >_>

Sorry. ^_^; It's taken care of, now. |
