Vulture
This carrion bird's world is shaken as it discovers that there are things that don't fit into it's dead / not dead- pattern. Thankfully, lack of vocal cords prevent him from fully verbalising his despair. Catch- phrase: piok. |

Tera, Queen
Little is known about this ancient Queen of Egypt, and even less is left of her. That might be for the better, however, given that fragment's homicidal tendencies.

Snuka
A young boy of lamentably poor morals, Snuka currently steals a living in Cairo, by any means he can think of. Apparently orphaned at an early age, his parents are unknown, although his appearance and eating habits point towards Southern Chinese roots.
While growing up in the streets of Cairo on his own did little to build his character, he acquired a remarkable resourcefulness and learned to never give up, especially when there's money involved. Whenever he is able to put monetary considerations aside, which is rare, it becomes obvious that he is actually loyal, considerate and friendly.
Up to now, he was to busy just staying alive to actually bother with puberty, but sexuality better start to be on the lookout for him, it won't be that much longer.

Sir Winston
British pilot and war hero, a bit pompous and talkative, but valiant and energetic nevertheless. A direct descendant of knights that were questing for the grail, he has unfortunately inherited their tendency to consider the journey more important than the destination.
Sir Winston is qualified to control any type of vehicle within the British armed forces, and has crashed every type at least once. |

Rutentuten II
Pharaoh, King of Upper and Lower Egypt, son of Ra, powerful is his bow, his enemies grovel before him, blessed by Thoth.
Rutentuten II belonged to the 11th Dynasty an reigned around 2000 BC. A young and energetic king, he tragically succumbed to a freak hunting accident. His mummy resides in display at the Cairo museum of a lot of, mostly quite oldish, stuff.
Of course, since he is dead, he can not have anything to do with our story, so his name is probably just put here by, uhm, accident. Right. |

Rashid al Kashier
Manager of a hotel in Cairo, the name of which lies beyond the scope of this short missive, Rashid retains politeness and composure throuhgout any circustance his guest's might confront him with. This is mostly due to the fact that he is secretly misanthropic and deeply despises everyone who even ventures near his hotel, which he erected above a cursed ancient burial place on purpose.

Omar al Extra and his sons
Omar al Extra hails from a familiy of graverobbers that can trace back their criminal tradition centuries. He is the first to actually go legit by working on an official archeological expedition, and meets a grisly end for his troubles.
He is survived by a wife and 24 children, although 4 of his sons survive him rather short- termish.

Neferhotep
This priest of Apis was one of Rutentuten's most trusted servants during his reign. On his deathbed, he had asked the enbalming priests to take extra care with his bandages, and that wasn't that clever, as it turns out.

Mopey
Professor Dr.'s best scientific assistant, Mopey possesses a sharp, analytical mind and is careful and reliable. However, she is also goth to the brink of being undead, and known to spend her sparetime alternately brooding and verbally assaulting people that disturb her brooding.
Like most goth chicks, she is a closet romantic. Theories regarding the cause of her hiding her face behind her hair run the full gamut from shyness through hiding a disfigurement to being an alien.
She grew up in the orphange on which steps she was found as a baby.

Sir Lostalot Broughtup-Snobishly
Eminent philanthropist and archeologist Sir Lostalot is one of Professor Dr.'s oldest and best friends. Jovial and plucky, he is as British as can be, and not half as snobish as his name would suggest. He is, however, indeed lost a lot.

Professeur Jaques Lafebreze
Another archeologist, and a french one, to boot. French scientists that accompanied Napoleon were the first to study ancient Egyptian artifacts, and Professeur LafebrËze has probably been around Egypt since then.
His main archeological publication is "Etudes sur le toiletry de les pissoirs egyptiennes batardes cordon bleu de l' siecle XVII" or something like that, and he has authored numerous other important scientific works no one has read because they are all in French.

Colonel Picetepus- Smythe
Commanding officer, 52nd regiment of foot "Queen's own pipes of terror". A highly decorated career officer, Picetepus- Smythe will likely be best remembered for decisively and bloodily putting down the Aswati rebellion. Actually, it wasn't quite a rebellion, but rather a bout of less than totally subservient behaviour, but the Colonel still managed to effectively proof the military value of the new Maxim guns against unarmed civilians.
He is also supposed to have had a hand in the creation of snooker. That is Snooker, not Snuka. Well, at least I guess they meant snooker..

Biff "Biffmeister" Boffenheimer
Quarterback of the Lillytown University football team, the 'Lillytown Loosers'. Biff is a model athlete of unshakably cheerful disposition, helpful, polite, and a honest and loyal friend. His most intellectual pursuit, however, is studying the cooking instructions on frozen pizzas - and that's already a challenge.
Due to the fact that he takes less estrogen-laden steroids than his teammates, he still falls into the category male.
