I really love how you manage to capture the greater cliches of B movies. Especially because you understand the greatest principle when it comes to all things subpar-- it is not to be despised, but honored. .. Also, I love your art. I'd marry you, but, you know.
Comment: Thanks a lot for the compliments. Of course should b-movies be honored, even the worst of them still stands for the combined time and efforts of many (more or less) talented people, and their unique blend of large amounts of misdirected creative energy and crass commercialism often results in movies that are, if nothing else, at least more memorable than many big budget productions. As far as marriage is concerned, however, I now make it a strict principle not to marry people before the first date - that never worked out for me in the past.

Good Lord, the new votting insective was unbelievably funny! I mean wow! By the way I also like the development of the whole mummy continutity storyarc. I shall leave you now. I feel a disturbance in the Swartz (Mell Brooks's Parodies are near as funny as your comments at the end of each update.) Keep up the good work.
Comment: Good to hear from you again, Alexander, and thanks for the praise. There aren't enough Harry Potter/Bill Gates crossover jokes out there, in my opinion. But too much Harry Potter/Bill Gates crossover fanfiction. (Haven't checked that, but is there doubt?) May the Schwartz be with you.

Wait... have I missed something? Who's the cheer-leader chick on the 'characters' page, and the other professors who have not been mentioned in the comic?
Are you getting a leg-up on future characters, or have I missed a storyline?
Comment: Don't worry, you haven't missed anything, the archive holds every strip there ever was. The characters page indeed already displays the complete cast of the 'mummy' storyarc, including characters that have yet to actually appear, sorry if that is a bit confusing. It's just, if we had updated the characters page with every introduction, it would have looked so empty at the outset. >_>; As far as the professors go, however, I guess we've already seen all three of them, even if Prof. LaFebrezé has only (yet) been seen in the corner of a single panel.

Love the comic. great art! Learned of the place from your guest strip for Order of the Stick. I love Mopey! Any possiblities of a t-shirt with her on it in the near future?
Comment: Thanks for the nice comments. I love Mopey, too, but a Mopey- themed shirt will take some more time. Cafépress doesn't offer black t-shirts, and I'm hard pressed to come up with something for her that doesn't require a black background. I pledge to redouble my efforts, though, so stay tuned.

EEEE!!! Awesome comic! love the egyptian theme. coolness!
Comment: Thanks! There's still a lot of Egyptian goodness to come, but I hope you'll like the comic even after the 'Mummy' storyarc is over. I'll sneak in a few hieroglyphs here and there, I promise.

YDamn. You must be right, Author. I shall pledge my life to destroy this conspiracy!
Comment: Right so. When we are many, none of us is, uhm, alone, and our voices will be heard, and they can't ignore the masses anymore, and we shall overcome, and words to that effect. You know the drill. (It's the pointy, rotating thing in your toolbox.)

YEE-HEE I won the contest! Where is that abismally costy figurine? Why have the news not been boadcasted by CNN, and by every inetrenet agency of news? Be fair now...
Comment: CONGRATULATIONS! We will bring your valuable prize on it's way to you as soon as possible. I also did a press release to all major TV, print and internet news outlets, but up to now, they seem bent on ingnoring the truth. A total meltdown of journalistic integrity, if you ask me- it must be the infamous liberal media conspiracy!

So where is the star trek strip? I can't find it and my lifelong ambition has been to solve the riddle of the lost pun.
(Webmaster): Dear Mort! Just click on the button labeled "Caption Contest". It is in the middle of the comment and turns red if you roll over it, thus indicationg interactivity. Or click HERE, which will bring you directly to that button. Or click HERE to go to the strip directly. (Somehow I was a little too overconfident regarding my skills as a webddesigner. I am so tired suddenly...)

By the way: one good questino what does WWND on the T-shirt of rutentuten mean? We Will Never Die? Or what? It was that dude's once upon a time, so it must probably mean something else, but..
Comment: Actually, it is WWDN, unless I made a typo. It means "Wild Whales Never Drown". No, in reality it's just the shirt that sweeps the nation, so all the cool kids wear it, and now Rutentuten is stuck with it. Helps to set him apart from any other mummy that might or might not appear in the strip, too.

I just want to mention some thing for all to see: This site rewards people commenting here, or voting for it at one of the links located in the home page. And in an interesting way too... BMC, should go on like that, and it's acronime's meaning might change a bit, to mean Best& Marvelus Comics. (clishe, but noone had said it yet, and if a B-movie is not clishe, then I do not know what it is.) Keep up the good work.
Comment: Oh, yeah, of course, I forgot to mention the voting incentives for the webcomicslist anywhere on the site. I try to change it every 14 days or so, it's a single panel cartoon not related to the BMovieComic. Thanks for reminding me. BMC stands for ' Britney marries Clint'. btw. I had this prophetic dream about the Spears/Eastwood marriage recently...

tHA! This comic is HILARIOUS! I love it. I followed the link here from Hellbound, and I must say, it was a good idea. I love ALL of the characters. In fact, this is pretty much what I look for in a comic. The humor is so great...
-ccs1989 www.drunkduck.com/Assassin_Assassin
Comment: sknahT. (Thanks gets a bit repetitive). Reading Hellbound is also a good idea, of course. And if you want to know what Ninjas do when they are not off-duty, check out Assassin-Assassin, the webcomic with the most s'es in the title.

this is pretty funny. hopefully you can keep it up, and you'll have a decent following in a year or so. it's quite an enjoyable comic.
Comment: Thanks! Do you mean I'll have more readers in a year, or do you hope those I have now will get more decent by reading my comic?

coolness!I love this comic! It would be so awesome to have it--the complete series--on some other site to read! I love how almost all the names are jokes. I like jokes. Jokes rock...my socks... My favorite characters--in alphebetical order this time--are: Evilmanes, Mopey, Neferhotep, Rutentuten, and of course, Snuka. Snuka reminds me of Gikie, one of my characters. The only difference is that Gikie is a girl...well...tomboy, really...ehh, I don't care. SHE'S SNUKA IN DISGUISE! maybe... okay, anyway, love your comix so much! Can't wait for more! Off-duty Ninja
Comment: Thanks. Your favorite characters clearly reflect your profession as an assassin, however: two villains, a henchman, a goth and a juvenile delinquent. Seems you can take a Ninja off duty, but you can never take duty off a Ninja.

Hello from Greece, which is practicly near Egypt. In a sense I feel it is useless to mention this at the moment, but whatever. I want to thank the B-movie Comics for giving me a purpose in - wait no: I just want to thank you, the Author, for your humour, which is really interesting. I shall try to keep reading your comics. Thnx again.
Comment: Greetings to Greece, and thank you for your kind words. I originally wanted to set this comic in Greece, but the Ancient Greeks cremated their dead, and a resurrected heap of ash kinda lacks that bone-chilling, imposing appearance.

Funny comic, nice drawings. Class act all the way. Question though; do you scan these comics in?
And, if so, how do you ge them nice clean black-and-white images?
Comment: Thanks a lot. Yes, I scan my drawings into Photoshop, then fiddle with Brightness/Contrast until I get them nice and clean. (as far as the drawing is concerned, I never seem to be able to get the content nice and clean)

this is a good but morbid comic so can you try to get it updating 3 times a week then to 5 times a week then daily within the next 6 months please
Comment: Thanks. In my first draft. Mopey was called Melody, and the comic BMusicalComic, but then a stretch of personal problems left me all morbid and cynical ;). I hope to get more updates done soon, but my daytime job is a bit stressy at the moment.

Some funny stuff, the comments at the end of each comic are the best part. IMHO
Comment: Yeah, but the comment at the end of each guestbook entry ain't funny at all.

Quite nice comic ya have here. Gothy is a bithy offy a phenomenon of da masses. Well, anyways this is one of the best I've read (amongst those thousands.....).
Comment: Thanks a lot for the compliments. I'm just glad I realized in the nick of time Disco wasn't a phenomenom of the masses anymore, or Biff would've ended up in a leisure suit.

Hello Author! Though I am almost a member of the family, I wanted to be the first to say something to your new Webcomic. O.k. "Something!" (Someone had to say this) Good luck!
Comment: Thanks for "Something", I always knew if someone had to say it, it would be you.

Hey! Nice comic. Nice webdesign. But the Rutentuten-figurine is a little expensive. Can I get a discount if I buy two of them? (Just kidding!)
Comment: O.k., we will deliver the figurines as soon as possible. The Webmaster will hack your bank-account, so don't worry about paying. Thank you for your order!
